<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/header-image.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-537" title="WoW-papercraft-figures" src="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/header-image.jpg" alt="WoW-papercraft-figures" width="480" height="500" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span>World of Warcraft (WoW) took the online gaming market by storm in 2004 and with over 11.5 million monthly subscribers; it is now the largest multiplayer online game in cyberspace. Fans obsessed with the game spend many of their waking hours enjoying adventures in this surreal world. Some have even taken it a step further – recreating these amazing characters and props out of paper. These are some of the best paper craft figures, created by very talented WoW fans.<span id="more-536"></span><br />
</span></p>
<h2><span>1. Illidan</span></h2>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span><a href="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/illidan.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-538" title="illidan-WoW-papercraft-figure" src="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/illidan.jpg" alt="illidan-WoW-papercraft-figure" width="365" height="488" /></a></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span><span>This truly ingenious life size model of Illidan was made purely from paper. Created by a player called Abhijitdc, it obviously took a lot of time to build. Every minute detail has been captured on the model, from the rippling muscles to the foreboding expression on his face. The colours are realistic and the end result is remarkably similar to the online character.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span><span><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7mLNmF7144g/SZwtxeXqOtI/AAAAAAAAA_k/wfJvky_RhCU/s1600-h/18022009032im0.jpg" target="_blank">Source Credit</a></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"> </p>
<h2><span><span>2. Dragon</span></span></h2>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span><span><a href="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/dragon.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-539" title="dragon-WoW-papercraft-figure" src="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/dragon.jpg" alt="dragon-WoW-papercraft-figure" width="432" height="450" /></a></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span><span><span>Created by a player known as Johannes E, this superb miniature reconstruction of a dragon captures the motion and expression beautifully. The dragon has a menacing look on its face and it looks as if it is ready to attack. Overall it is well proportioned and an excellent representation of a dragon from the game – a true work of art.</span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span><span><span><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7mLNmF7144g/SVGp8tRntDI/AAAAAAAAA3c/OCspCUxTXVw/s1600-h/DragonA.jpg" target="_blank">Source Credit</a></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"> </p>
<h2><span><span><span>3. <em><span style="font-style: normal;">Kael&#8217;thas</span></em> Sunstrider</span></span></span></h2>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span><span><span><a href="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/kaelthas.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-540" title="kael'thas-sunstrider-WoW-papercraft-figure" src="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/kaelthas.jpg" alt="kael'thas-sunstrider-WoW-papercraft-figure" width="374" height="500" /></a></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span><span><span><span>PMF is well known for his talent as a Wow paper craftsman and it certainly shows in this model of Kaelthas. A very complicated figure to build; it must have taken a lot of patience to create all the intricate details on this incredible piece. Not only has he managed to make the robe drape in a realistic manner, but he has even built the tiny fingers on each hand – definitely one of the best WoW papercraft models I’ve seen.</span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span><span><span><span><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/wowpapercraft/2469978518" target="_blank">Source Credit</a></span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"> </p>
<h2><span><span><span><span>4. Winterspring Frostsaber</span></span></span></span></h2>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span><span><span><span><a href="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/frostsaber.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-541" title="winterspring-frostsaber-WoW-papercraft-figure" src="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/frostsaber.jpg" alt="winterspring-frostsaber-WoW-papercraft-figure" width="431" height="364" /></a></span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span><span><span><span><span>Another fabulous creation by Johannes E, this model of the Winterspring Frostsaber is outstanding. Crouching low, looking certain to pounce – this saber will not take any prisoners. Meticulously detailed and a great replica of the game’s character, there is certainly no doubt in what this paper figure is supposed to represent.</span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span><span><span><span><span><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7mLNmF7144g/STdTYDeCCOI/AAAAAAAAAvM/wW5KnI-gGbA/s1600-h/Saber4.jpg" target="_blank">Source Credit</a></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"> </p>
<h2><span><span><span><span><span>5. Night Elf Druid</span></span></span></span></span></h2>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span><span><span><span><span><a href="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/night-elf-druid.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-542" title="night-elf-druid-WoW-papercraft-figure" src="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/night-elf-druid.jpg" alt="night-elf-druid-WoW-papercraft-figure" width="278" height="499" /></a></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span><span><span><span><span><span>Wow – is all I can say about this figure by Mambba. Even when you use sturdy craft materials than paper to build models, it is incredibly difficult to get the balance right when the model’s weight is concentrated on one point – Mambba certainly has great artist talent. The perfectly proportioned model is beautifully sculptured and the colourisation is near perfect. This is definitely one of my favourites.</span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span><span><span><span><span><span><a href="http://mambba.blogspot.com/2008/04/druide-elfe-de-la-nuit-en-papercraft.html" target="_blank">Source Credit</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"> </p>
<h2><span><span><span><span><span><span>6. Netherwelp</span></span></span></span></span></span></h2>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span><span><span><span><span><span><a href="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/netherwelp.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-543" title="netherwelp-WoW-papercraft-figure" src="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/netherwelp.jpg" alt="netherwelp-WoW-papercraft-figure" width="431" height="348" /></a></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>This paper model of Netherwelp by Chimerastone is simply adorable. It may not be the most complicated figure to make, however it still requires a lot of patience and dedication to get it to look this realistic. Like all the others selected as my top WoW paper craft figures, it is well proportioned; coloured and it is also a great model to build as your first attempt.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7mLNmF7144g/SKCgJEJpReI/AAAAAAAAAfg/Q8tcOY8F2GI/s1600-h/netherwelp.jpg" target="_blank">Source Credit</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"> </p>
<h2><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>7. Pally</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></h2>
<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><a href="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/pally.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-544" title="pally-WoW-papercraft-figure" src="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/pally.jpg" alt="pally-WoW-papercraft-figure" width="413" height="500" /></a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Roger A. Lopez must have had lots of spare time on his hands to have crafted this full life size model of Pally. Lopez has captured every minute detail of this character right down to the intricate details on his robe and armour. Even the knives in his shoulder holsters have been meticulously moulded. This is a fantastic WoW paper craft figure.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7mLNmF7144g/SMskFcGSSTI/AAAAAAAAAfo/RCzwMZsCFpI/s1600-h/pally.jpg" target="_blank">Source Credit</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p> </p>
<h2><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>8. Luth</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></h2>
<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><a href="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/luth.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-545" title="luth-WoW-papercraft-figure" src="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/luth.jpg" alt="luth-WoW-papercraft-figure" width="432" height="498" /></a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>This scary-looking papercraft model of Luth is another fabulous creation by Barbarian. It is an incredibly complicated structure to build and even more so as it is a miniature model. He has managed to mould every fine detail of this character including the wrinkles on the back of the neck. Barbarian sure does have great artistic talent.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><a href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/wowpapercraft/SCyVCuYRGEI/AAAAAAAAAIQ/vjvMdvmQN6k/IMG_0895.jpg" target="_blank">Source Credit</a></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p> </p>
<h2>9. Thrall</h2>
<p><a href="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/thrall1.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-547" title="thrall-WoW-papercraft-figure" src="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/thrall1.jpg" alt="thrall-WoW-papercraft-figure" width="480" height="451" /></a></p>
<p><span>Here is another brilliant creation from PMF, the host of www.wowpapercraft.blogspot.com. Once again PMF shows his true talent as a paper craftsman with this model of the ominous looking Thrall. It is very apparent that a lot of time and effort went into this creation as it is a very complicated figure to build. Every tiny little detail is complete, from the scowling brow to the muscular arms. If it was life size, it would surely be quite intimidating.</span></p>
<p><span><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7mLNmF7144g/STdTvFlz1rI/AAAAAAAAAvU/9UZsG5SQcjw/s1600-h/n555304495_845479_6395.jpg" target="_blank">Source Credit</a></span></p>
<p> </p>
<h2><span>10. Mirana</span></h2>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span><a href="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/miarana.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-548" title="mirana-WoW-papercraft-figure" src="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/miarana.jpg" alt="mirana-WoW-papercraft-figure" width="491" height="369" /></a></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span><span>Feisty Mirana looks set to go into battle. This paper craft model, built by Abhijitdc and designed by hobikit, is absolutely stunning. It isn’t an easy figure to build as there are many fiddly bits to take into account during the construction; however Abhijitdc has definitely pulled it off – a great achievement indeed. </span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span><span><a href="http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd286/hobikit/31012008029.jpg" target="_blank">Source Credit</a></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"> </p>
<h2><span><span>11. Lina Inverse</span></span></h2>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span><span><a href="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/lina-inverse.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-549" title="lina-inverse-WoW-papercraft-figure" src="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/lina-inverse.jpg" alt="lina-inverse-WoW-papercraft-figure" width="408" height="500" /></a></span></span></p>
<p><span><span><span>Another great WoW paper craft model designed by hobikit and built by Abhijitdc, Lina Inverse is posed to release a spell. It may look like an easy enough model to build, but it certainly is not. The face has been carefully sculptured and no detail has been missed. This talented team are definitely among the best of paper craft figure designers and builders.</span></span></span></p>
<p><span><span><span><a href="http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd286/hobikit/22122007486.jpg" target="_blank">Source Credit</a></span></span></span></p>
<p> </p>
<h2><span><span><span>12. Gnome</span></span></span></h2>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span><span><span><a href="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/gnome.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-550" title="gnome-WoW-papercraft-figure" src="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/gnome.jpg" alt="gnome-WoW-papercraft-figure" width="478" height="398" /></a></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span><span><span><span>This very cute paper model was completed by Maddra. The creator has painstaking managed to reconstruct all the details, right down to the curled up fingers holding the spear; the bushy eyebrows and wild beard. Completing the picture is a treasure chest which this little gnome is guarding.</span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span><span><span><span><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7mLNmF7144g/SRl2CzPDzcI/AAAAAAAAAmw/PB5F8hbEu1A/s1600-h/World_of_Papercraft_by_maddra.jpg" target="_blank">Source Credit</a></span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"> </p>
<h2><span><span><span><span>13. Moonkin</span></span></span></span></h2>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span><span><span><span><a href="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/moonkin.jpg" target="_blank"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-551" title="moonkin-WoW-papercraft-figure" src="http://listcollections.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/moonkin.jpg" alt="moonkin-WoW-papercraft-figure" width="381" height="497" /></a></span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span><span><span><span><span>A menacing character perfectly reconstructed in paper by PMF. The moonkin’s design is very complex and difficult to build and yet PMF seems to have done it with ease. Everything is there, from the pointy toes to the tassels on the Moonkin’s armour. This is another outstanding example of true craftsmanship.</span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span><span><span><span><span><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/wowpapercraft/2862543181" target="_blank">Source Credit</a></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: left;"> </p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><span>Many WoW paper craft designers are happy for viewers to download their designs for free, so why not give it a try and build your own favourite character. You&#8217;ll obviously need to paper, <a title="printer ink" href="http://www.cartridgesave.co.uk" target="_blank">printer ink</a> and a lot of patience, but who knows, you may discover a talent you never knew you had!</span></p>
